Prepare your deck carefully. For this competition, you can only use common and uncommon cards - no rares, super rares, legendaries, Epics, Iconics or enchanted glimmers allowed. Jafar’s magic restricts the powerful, and only the most resourceful Illumineers can prove their skill with the most humble glimmers.
How to Conquer Jafar and Claim Your Prize?
Beat the benchmark from our example video - 22 lore by turn 8 - and receive a 10% coupon (postage excluded) to use in the TCGAus shop. But only one champion will rise to claim the $50 store voucher (postage excluded) for the highest lore in the fewest turns. Impress Jafar and the Illumineer community with your speed and strategy!
Rules of Engagement: Play Fair, Play Smart
To keep the game fair and fun for all, please follow these rules:
- Decks restricted to cards that have been printed at least once in common or uncommon rarity.
- Challenge must be played against Jafar on Normal Mode.
- Your video must be a single continuous shot, no cuts (Editing overlays are allowed provided it does not mask crucial information).
- All cards drawn must be clearly visible to the camera. If a card moves off-screen, it must be brought back into view promptly to avoid suspicion of outside cards being added. If at any time a drawn card moves off screen prior to being made public knowdge the attempt is invalidated and will not be accepted.
- Whenever shuffling, you must:
- Shuffle thoroughly.
- Split your deck into three piles.
- Use dice rolls to decide the order in which piles are reassembled (1-2 for left, 3-4 for middle, 5-6 for right as shown in the example video).
- Any attempt that violates these rules will be disqualified and must be resubmitted.
- You can re-submit attempts as many times as you want prior to the deadline, however each entrant will only receive the 10% discount code for beating the benchmark score once regardless of how many times they submit attempts.
- Australian entries only! (But if you're from outside of Australia and really want to give it a shot you're welcome to submit an attempt for an honorable mention!)
